Plot summary
An assignment to write his family history in order to inherit his uncle’s mansion  takes old Jewish fairy-tale writer Nathan to his native Canada, where he is assisted by his niece Nina – the young and last surviving member of the family - in writing the family history… She falls in love with her uncle.
Long-dead relatives from Eastern Europe take him on a virtual trip through time and space. Helpful as they are to Nathan’s project, they both have their own agendas. And the house itself too, or so it seems…
